A Selection of our Past Projects

  • Dream St.Helens Digital Interpretation Project. We were commissioned to research, consult, devise and carry out a scheme of digital interpretation that would enhance a visit to Dream, telling the stories of the site, and also encouraging visitors to the wider area.
  • Llangollen Canal and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site Digital Interpretation at Chirk Bank. We produced digital interpretation for the short Chirk Bank section of the Llangollen canal for Shropshire County Council. Our interpretation uncovered the stories of the canal, Chirk Aqueduct, and exploried local memories and was delivered by QR Code, our audioguide2go mobile app, download via www.audioguide2go.com content was also made available for access by Bluetooth.
  • Denbighshire Heather and Hillforts Project. Bilingual interpretative audio trails at Moel Famau Country Park and Caer Drewyn Corwen. Consultation on dial up delivery. Accessible by download, and mobile phone on our phone servers. Includes narration, mini interviews from experts and enthusiasts, oral reminiscences, sound effects and music
  • Denbighshire Heather and Hillforts Project. Bilingual character driven mobile phone and mp3 tour around Penycloddiau launched 26th July 2010 featuring sound effects, and carefully chosen music.
  • Neston and Parkgate Collieries Trail for Neston and Parkgate Local History Society Community Project. Mp3 Trail exploring the stories of the former coal mines. Narration and interviews.
  • Powys Council Development of the bilingual Anne Griffiths Audio Walk, accessible by download and mobile phone app in an area of sporadic mobile connectivity.
  • Cheshire Sandstone Ridge Habitats and Hillforts Project. Creation of stills video telling the story of the Forgotten Fortress aplay especially commissioned by Habitats and Hillforts to explore the legends of the ridge.
  • Cheshire Sandstone Ridge Habitats and Hillforts Project. Development of digital interpretation scheme including podcast download and stills video, exploring the legacy of the Hillforts and the role of the project in improving management of the sites, habitats, access and recreation. Involving consultation, scriptwriting, narration interviews, and recording storyteller project revealing the hidden stories of the ridge, with possibility of future extension to mobile phone app.
  • Cheshire Sandstone Ridge Voices of the Ridge Local History Project. Habitats and Hillforts. Consulting the community in telling stories of Helsby and Frodsham, looking at the industrial and rural landscape. We worked with volunteers recording reminiscences from heritage groups, and at Helsby Tuesday Club, to accompany the local history project capturing people’s memories of life and industry on the Ridge.
  • Offas Dyke Path Officer and Partners. Podcasts at Rushock Hill and Hergest Ridge to accompany a series of circular walks and leaflets. Interviews carried out with number of contributors and weaved into an audio tapestry. To be accessed from the website or downloaded onto an ipod. Edited sound files were also made accessible via state of the art sound boxes installed on site.
  • Shropshire Council and Partners. Series of podcast montages along Offas Dyke to accompany a series of circular walks and leaflets exploring the heritage of the area around the path encourage walking on other linking paths and increase visits to local towns. To be accessed by a website, or downloaded onto an ipod. Stills video montage.
  • National Trust Powis Castle Volunteer Project. Working with volunteers to develop scripts and narration for dual language mp3 audio tours exploring the castle through the lives of a real resident from the past Lady Henrietta Herbert. Accessible from the website.
  • National Trust Powis Castle Volunteer Project Working with volunteers recording interviews to develop stills videos with soundtracks in dual language introducing the Castle and the observations of the volunteers involved in the “Henrietta” project.
  • National Trust Powis Castle. Working with volunteers to create scripts and narration for a dual language mp3 “Edwardian Tour” and producing with sound effects and music, stills video.
  • National Trust Powis Castle. Conversion into mp3 of existing taped reminiscences of former staff, and evacuees resident at the castle during World War 2. Forming an oral data base accessed from the NT website but hosted on our web servers.
  • Sustainable Abersoch Cynaladwy. Community Group focused on Sustainability. Dual language mp3 audio trails in English and Welsh exploring Abersoch, and the coastline of the Lleyn Penninsula. Including scriptwriting consultation, full production and downloadable GPS Mapping, accessed by download and hire of equipment from tourist office.
  • Natural England. Consultation, research scripting and production of series of downloadable mp3 audio trails at Walberswick NNR Suffolk. Full research script writing and production narration, interview snippets from experts and enthusiasts and oral reminiscences and sound effects.
  • Neston and Parkgate Civic Societies and the Market Towns Initiative. Consultation, production of series of trails around Neston and Parkgate accessible by download. These received a Cheshire Community Pride award in 2008.
  • Ness Colliery Audio trail. Featuring interviews with expert Anthony Annakin Smith and members of the community, exploring the hidden traces of the Ness coal industry. Featuring recorded interviews with experts, and archive recordings tracing family memories of this almost forgotten coal field to connect people with the heritage of the area.
  • Knaresborough Castle Yorkshire. Adult and children’s audio tours of the castle and ruins. Full research scriptwriting and production. Includes mini interviews with contributions. The aim is to promote the castle as an icon for the area to encouraging locals to look at the Castle in different ways and to attract new visitors to both the Castle and the wider area. To be accessible by download, preloaded players with consideration of future extension to our mobile phone app and/or or dial up telephone tour.
  • Chester. Mp3 ghost tour and mobile app.
  •  Canterbury Kent. Mp3 audio trail and mobile app,
  • Llanrhaeadr Denbighshire. Mp3 village audio trail and mobile app.
  • Shropshire Wildlife Trust. Consultancy scriptwriting and production consultancy on the production of audio trails resulting in an audio trail at Earls Hill.
  • Bodelwyddan Castle Trust. One of our earliest tours. Production of a ghost trail including sound effects, narration and interviews with those who have experienced “ghostly” encounters there.
  • Seafarers Centre Liverpool. Stills video montages raising the profile of the Charity on Youtube and their website.
  • Preston Grange East Renfrewshire.  Editing and updating existing (not produced by us) tour and making available by our phone system as they had terminated previous phone contractor.
